Posey County residents are in favor of SMART solar development. NOT using prime agricultural land currently being farmed and surrounding resident’s homes.
The electricity produced will not necessarily be for Posey County or the TriState area. The electricity produced from a 1,600 +/- acre solar farm to be built in Gibson County by the same solar developer is being sold to NIPSCO in northern Indiana.
